Programs
Louise Street Community Church of the Nazarene is about relationships. We strive to provide exciting and age appropriate programs. The following are descriptions of the programs we may run at different times throughout the year. Check our bulletin for our current schedule.
Your Best You - for women
One of the things that make our church unique is our focus on strengths. Want a place to try them out? Give us a visit and let's talk about it. We hold a Your Best You conference regularly and follow it up with a weekly small group to help ladies not only discover their strengths, but to empower them to make the changes they want in their lives. Don't settle for second best, be Your Best You. Check out the link to the left for more information.Christian Service Brigade
CSB is a gender-based ministry for boys from kindergarden to grade 12. It is about games, crafts, learning things, stories, and role modelling. Battalion, the group for young men aged 12-18, adds Leadership Development and Personal Discipleship to the mix of sports and a variety of activities. Dads or other significant men in a boys life are welcome to attend with the boy! It is like that other boys club that teaches knots and sports, but with a biblical morality.
Gems
GEMS is a gender-based ministry for girls in kindergarden to grade 8. Under the leadership of women the girls will have singing, crafts, fun, games, and teaching about women who made a difference in the world, both in this era as well as in years gone by. This is a program we are planning to start in January, 2008.
J.O.Y.
Getting
old
and grumpy?
Maybe you need a dose of J.O.Y.! Along with visiting some programs at
other churches, we go out for lunch monthly and have our own casual get
togethers. J.O.Y.
is for those 50 years of age and older that still have a hankering for
something with a little spice!
Women's Night Out
For women only, this program is designed to give you a break in your routine, whatever that may be. This program meets once a month. Come meet some new friends and make a connection. Check our weekly bulletin here for specific information.
